What we collect when you browse

To see which pages are useful and where our customers are, this site records a simple visit log: the pages you view, the site you came from, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city and region) worked out from your internet address. To work out the city, your internet address is sent to a location lookup service (ipwho.is). We keep only a shortened version of your internet address, never your exact one. We do not collect your name or email from browsing, and the log is not sold or shared. A small cookie lets us recognize a returning visitor.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the visit log is skipped.

What we collect when you contact us or order

Your name, email, phone and delivery address, so I can build and deliver your order, send invoices and receipts, and answer questions. Card payments are handled by Stripe; card numbers never touch this site.

Discount codes and emails

If you ask for a discount code, we save your email so we can send it. We may email you occasionally about new pieces or offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email john@jgmwoodwork.com to be removed or to have your information deleted.
